Fine Art Photography & Poetry

We live in a world full of wonder. It can be found in all seasons and places. From gently falling snow on a city sidewalk to the setting sun across a mountain range, there are endless ways for this world to take our breath away. When we slow down, these moments can imprint themselves into our souls. If we allow ourselves to feel deeply, the world can take our wonder and turn it into art.

It is my goal to document all these moments and more with both photographs and words.

Welcome dreamers,

My name is Jennefer, and I am an artist that gravitates to cameras and typewriters. Inspired by Old World Europe, I enjoy creating timeless, painterly style photographs and pairing them written words. Dramatic light and soft desaturated colors lend a romantic feel to my images and tie together my multi-genre series.

Whether you are viewing my artistic landscapes, nature, or family photographs, I want to leave you with a sense of lasting beauty. When paired with my poems, I hope my art touches your heart and fills it wonder.

Originally from central Indiana, I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky with my husband and daughter. When not creating new art work, I enjoy discussing creative theory with other artists and losing myself in fantasy and historical romance novels. When I’m not carrying around a camera or journal, you’ll find me with a plain hot latte in hand.

I am a Click Pro Elite Photographer and a moderator for the Women’s Photography Circle of Kentucky

Stages

As every flower fades and as all youth
Departs, so life at every stage,
So every virtue, so our grasp of truth,
Blooms in its day and may not last forever.
Since life may summon us at every age
Be ready, heart, for parting, new endeavor,
Be ready bravely and without remorse
To find new light that old ties cannot give.
In all beginnings dwells a magic force
For guarding us and helping us to live.
Serenely let us move to distant places
And let no sentiments of home detain us.
